EVERY 5,000 MILES
Chevrolet Recommended Service
- Oil Change & Tire Rotation
For an average car owner, the oil should be changed every 5,000 miles. This general estimate is what Chevrolet recommends for factory servicing of its vehicles, but results may vary from owner to owner depending on vehicle driving habits, with more regularly scheduled maintenance being required for severe use applications such as hauling heavy loads on a regular basis.
A Chevrolet oil change at Turner Chevrolet includes a complete draining and refilling of the oil in your vehicle, replacing the oil filter, and an optional tire rotation service. We recommend rotating your tires on a regular basis to ensure that you can get the most life out of your tires in addition to making sure that they are in good shape before you leave our Chevrolet Service Center.

During this 15k service visit, our technicians will check the braking system on your vehicle to ensure that everything is in order.
While your car is suspended in the air in our Chevrolet Service Department, our mechanics will also verify that your Chevroletās transmission fluid is in good shape and filled to an adequate level to ensure smooth operation.
